Awards: The Best Fifa Awards 2018, Here Are All The Winners

FIFA on Monday night handed out it The Best’ awards for 2018 in London, recognizing the, well, best of the best in the sport over the past year.

BREAKING: Modric Breaks Ronaldo-Messi Dominance, Wins FIFA Best Player Award

LUKA Modric broke a decade of award dominance by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi after being crowned world footballer of the year by FIFA, while Marta won the women’s award for a sixth time.

Modric was voted FIFA’s best player in the 2017-18 season after winning the Champions League for a fourth time in five seasons with Real Madrid and leading Croatia to its first World Cup final where it lost to France.
He beat Ronaldo and Liverpool’s Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah to the prize.
What. A. Team.

Womens Player of the Year: Marta (Brazil)
Mens Coach of the Year: Didier Deschamps (France)
Womens Coach of the Year: Reynald Pedros
Puskas Award: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool v Everton)
FIFPRO World XI: De Gea, Alves, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, Kante, Hazard, Mbappe, Ronaldo
FIFA Fan Award: Peru supporters
FIFA Fair Play Award: Lennart Thy (VVV Venlo, missed a match last year to donate stem cells to help a Leukaemia patient)
Thibaut Courtois won the best goalkeeper award for helping Belgium reach the World Cup semi-finals as well as the FA Cup with Chelsea before a summer move to Madrid.
Salah’s strike in last season’s Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield has won the Puskas Award for the goal of the season.
