Kuku therefore urged PDP members in Arogbo Community to be steadfast and vote for PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has claimed he is the most investigated public office holder in Nigeria.
He stated this when he featured on The Candidates, a live television show on the 2019 elections on Wednesday night.
Atiku, who served as vice-president to Obasanjo between 1999 and 2007, had fallen out with the president who accused him of corruption, before Obasanjo recently endorsed him.
When asked about what Obasanjo said of him in the past, Atiku said; “If the referee has changed his mind and says that the applicant is now the best for the job, what is there again to consider?
“Nobody has been investigated by Obasanjo more than myself, if Obasanjo couldn’t find me guilty of any wrongdoing, then I don’t think those statements stand.”
Atiku added that as the “most investigated public official”, his employer was unable to find him wanting.
“I was the most investigated politician or public official and I was not found wanting, then it is up to my employers to believe what has been said or not,” he said.

A group which identified itself as the Strike force of MEND, has threatened resistance from it’s ranks, if the Presidency, yields to selfish demands by replacing or removing Brambaifa.
They said, Brambaifa’s appointment is a product of the cries, protests, agitations and sacrifices of Ijaws who refused to be cowed by fear, death or intimidation.
The appointment of Prof. Nelson Brambaifa has since been generating a lot of controversies after President Muhammadu Buhari made the announcement on Friday last week.
Sources in the APC have revealed, that some APC leaders in Bayelsa, have since mounted resistant and are insisting for the removal and replacement of Brambaifa.

But the Niger Delta Strike force, a group which identified itself as the strike force of the Movement for the emancipation of Niger delta (MEND), has advised the Presidency, to jettison, counsels and ill advises, that will destabilize the peace of the Region.
The group while applauding President Muhammadu Buhari for the appointment of Prof. Nelson Brambaifa as acting MD of NDDC, also noted that the Presidency should not consent to demands of detractors and greedy politicians who are bent on destabilising the peace of the region by attempting to replace or remove Brambaifa.
The group which spoke through it’s spokesperson, self styled Capt. Jhoto Koankiri, said,
“greedy Politicians of Ijaw ethnic nationality should hide their faces in shame for trying to hinder Prof. Brambaifa’s appointment, we are aware that some people close to the presidency are trying to use their position to thwart Brambaifa’s confirmation as the substantive MD of the NDDC, but we assure these unpatriotic Politicians that we are ready for them, thier antics must fail and we are now telling the President to ignore these selfish people as their opinion does not represent the the people of Ijaw Nation, but if the government is tempted to be swayed by these people we are ready to express our solid stand with very vissible signs for all to see
” The Niger Delta Strike-Force expressed that any move by anyone to replace Brambaifa will meet the stiffest of resistance from it’s ranks and and comrades”, part of his statements reads.
The group added that the appointment meets the expectation of Ijaw people who were already getting furious over the undue and unnecessary enlongation of the tenure of the Nsima Ekere’s board, but are now relieved by the fact that the government has selected a very competent person to man the affairs of the Commission.
Similarly, a group of women under the auspices of Coalition of Ijaw Women Leaders has also commended the Presidency for the thoughtful appointment of an Ijaw son Prof. Branbaiyefa as the Acting MD of the NDDC.
In a statement issued in Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital, the Spokesperson for the group Mrs. Gladys Eremieprete stated that the Professor is a respected man who deserve the appointment and the women trust is his ability to bring desired results to the Commission.
