Development: Jubilation in Enekorogha as singer Smooth drags solar street lights to community

In what appears to be an uncommon occurrence, Ijaw living musical legend, Chief Barrister S. Smooth, popularly called the paddle of Niger Delta has brought smile to the people of Enekorogha community in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State by installing solar powered street lights.

This was contained in a statement issued on the Niger Delta born prophetic musician official Facebook page.

It would be recalled that Chief Barrister Smooth, a first class musician in Niger Delta and beyond is the commissioner representing Delta State on the Board of Nomadic Education, a federal ministry in Nigeria.

However, it was learnt that Smooth executed the solar powered street lights under the federal ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The highly rated Ijaw musical maestro had assured Niger Deltans that this is just the beginning of many good things to come.

In his words: “I want to state categorically that this is just the beginning of more good things to come in Ijaw land, this ought to be the beauty of leadership, when you have any little opportunity, we should all try to positively affect the lives of our people, it will cost us nothing, this is my little contribution to my people, i am very glad that the people likes it, I am still committed to do more, I will not also fail in decentralizing development from my end”.
