Bayelsa central: Douye diri’s campaign gets messy, image maker threatens violence ahead of 2019

Mr. Steve Tekerebo, the image maker, media handler and Personal media aide to the PDP candidate for Bayelsa Central senatorial district, Hon. Douye diri, in a recent outburst on social media, has promised to go unclean on perceived opposition members.

In the statement, which he made in defence of diri, Steve further implies that he was prepared to go extra miles in protection of his boss candidature, this may include violence, propagandas, or other means.

“I am ready to go dirty with anyone trying to sabotage the good will of Hon. Douye Diri here” – Steve Tekerebo said.

This is coming after an online media publication, community vanguard, which reported Douye diri in a free for all fight at the National Assembly during the 2019 budget Presentation of President Muhammadu Buhari, an incident which has triggered controversy amongst his kin, brandishing him as a man of violence.

Douye diri’s reputation which is now in jeopardy, has now been brought under serious media critique.

His media handlers in their publicity, are seemingly creating more problems for the lawmaker, as they resort to insults and blackmails instead of Issue based campaigns.

More public commentators and opinionist, continue to decry the high level of social media rascality being displayed by media team members, as they are unable to dish the public diri’s achievements in his four years as a national legislature.

Diri will be having a keen contest against APC candidate, Barr. Festus Daumiebi, a renowned Ijaw Youths leader, activist and philantrophist, for the senatorial seat of Bayelsa Central.

Recall, in the PDP party primaries, Diri lost his local government party delegates to one Professor brisibe, but luckily clinched the ticket with few votes outside his LGA.
