BREAKING!! Biafrans Rages With Fury; Sends Atiku A Strong Message

Biafrans Rages With Fury; Sends Atiku A Strong Message

The Indigenous people of Biafra has shown their strong and fervent dislike for Atiku and have sent him a message by disowning a prof for hugging Atiku. Proscribed group, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has disowned Prof. Ben Nwabueze for accepting the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

The group, in a statement on Thursday, disowned Prof. Nwabueze describing his move as an insult to the Igbo nation. The Statement read;

“Professor Ben Nwabueze is no longer one of us. He has joined the enemy camp. 50 years of embracing every Fulani presidential candidate that comes to Enugu with a bag of foreign currency has never yielded anything positive for our people.

Every promise and declaration Prof. Nwabueze made to IPOB leadership he has broken. From insisting that nobody should meet him for peace with IPOB unless the terrorist tag is removed to agreeing to extract written binding commitment from Atiku to return Nigeria to the regions (1963 Constitution). He failed on all these fronts.

He is still an elder and father but his romance with Fulani One Nigeria and mortgaging Igbo interest on mere empty promise from Atiku is unacceptable. They have been endorsing every northerner all their lives for money, contracts and appointments for themselves and their families.

Biafrans Rages With Fury; Sends Atiku A Strong Message

Please don’t insult him or use rude words to address him because it’s not his fault. He was deceived by blood-sucking Igbo demon politicians. We simply avoid him and not talk about him anymore. He is NOT somebody we can defer to anymore.

Hugging Atiku like a child in need of his mother is an unforgivable insult to the great Igbo race in particular and we Biafrans in general.”

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is a separatist organisation led by Nnamdi Kanu. The group wants a number of states in south-east Nigeria, made up mainly of people from the Igbo ethnic group, to break away from Nigeria and form the independent nation of Biafra.

To achieve this, the group is calling for a referendum, stating that they will continue to agitate until the Nigerian government fixes a date for the referendum “to settle the issue of Biafra in a civilised and democratic manner”. On 20 September 2017, a Federal High Court in Abuja granted the Nigerian Federal Government an interim injunction proscribing the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Amnesty International has accused the Nigeria army of killing not less than 150 members of IPOB with video evidence of the massacre at Nkpor in Anambra State from 29 to 30th of May 2016 as they celebrate Biafra remembrance day and that of Ngwa high school on the 8th of February in a prayer service.

UPDATED: IPOB Storms Churches, Declares War On Nigeria

There was chaos at Christ the King Cathedral, (CKC) in Aba, Abia state after members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) vehemently opposed a prayer for peaceful election in 2019.

It was gathered that the IPOB members went berserk after the prayer request by the Reverend Father.

The IPOB members who opposed the prayer, said that there will be no election in Igbo land as stated by their leader Nnamdi Kanu – till referendum is conducted as they raised the group’s (IPOB) flag and also American flags while causing commotion during the service.

Meanwhile, the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), has urged Igbos to disregard the call for boycott of election by Nnamdi Kanu describing it as `unrealistic’.

On 19 October 2015, it was reported that Nnamdi Kanu had been granted bail after a secret arraignment at Magistrate Court,Wuse 11. However, the bail seemed “controversial” and there were claims the DSS announced the bail only “to calm the angry people of Biafra”.

Although the bail conditions were stringent some of which required the Certificate of Occupancy of a landed property within Abuja municipality, a level 16 officer in the Ministry, Kanu’s lawyer said they eventually met the requirements in full. However, “upon the issuance of the Form 36,the court ordeal went to execute the order but came back unsuccessful. He was unable to produce the prisoner.

The lawyer, Vincent Obetta, called the continued detention of the activist despite meeting his bail conditions “a clash between judiciary and executive” in a democratic Nigeria. According to Obetta, “I have not seen or heard any place where a court grants bail and the person is not released. Under UN and Africa charter, it is enshrined that once bail is granted, you release the person upon meeting the bail conditions. We are sliding to days of Decree 2 and 4 of 1984. This is pure Dictatorship.”

A Conservative minister said the British consular officials will visit Kanu following enquiry from the activist’s constituency MP, Harriet Harman. James Duddridge, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs confirmed that Kanu, had been visited earlier by members of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office but that he did not ask for British consular assistance.

On Israel relationship with Africa, he said, “Our relationship with Africa is extremely important. Israel is a peaceful nation that believes in the process of the world at this changing times.”

Breaking: Nigeria MILITARY Plans another “PYTHON DANCE” As NNANDI KANU Speaks Today

The re-emergence of IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu from hiding has prompted The Defence Headquarters, Abuja, to say that the military would conduct another round of Operation Python Dance in the South-East.

The military authorities also said the court would take necessary steps to continue his prosecution.

The Director of Defence Information, Brig. Gen John Agim, who stated this in an interview with SUNDAY PUNCH on Saturday, added that the sudden appearance of Kanu in public, has proved that the military did not manhandle or assault him as was being widely alleged.

Agim said the conduct of Python Dance in the South-East region was necessary to combat any form of kidnapping and armed robbery as the end of the year neared.

The Defence spokesperson added that the military would launch a fresh operation in the region this year to ensure peace.

He said, “Our responsibility is to ensure that there is peace and security in the South-East region and that is the essence of Operation Python Dance.

“We are going to have another operation this year. It is to ensure that we don’t allow what happens in the North-East to happen again.

“We are having multiple operations. The court will now know the true situation of things. We said at that time that Kanu ran away, but people said the military kept him in custody. It was propaganda.”

BREAKING: Court Orders Release Of Protesting IPOB Women, Strikes – MainNews.Blog

A Magistrate Court in Owere, Imo State, has ordered the release of over 100 women detained after a protest demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

The women were arrested on August 18 and detained following allegations of alleged treason and unlawful assembly among other offences.

There have been campaigns and demands for their release, especially on social media. Global rights group, Amnesty International, on Friday condemned the detention of the women protesters describing it as a violation of their rights.

In an interview on Friday, the lawyer representing the women, Sam Amadi, confirmed their release, saying they were let off following a directive of the Imo State director of public prosecution.

“Yes, they have been released. The DPP gave a directive for the case against them to be struck out, earlier today and we took it to the magistrate, along with the detained women. The court ordered the immediate release of the women. All them who came to the court were released from there.

“Only about 12 of them who were not in this prison are expected to be released from the Okigwe prison where they are held. The case has also been struck out,” Mr Amadi said.

Earlier on Friday, the Takeitback Movement spearheaded by Omoyele Sowore, a presidential aspirant of African Action Congress (AAC), demanded the release of the women.

“We strongly protest the unjust detention of over 100 Nigerian women in Owerri, Imo State, and are outraged at the biased treatment of Nigerians in their own country,” the movement said in a statement by its Director of Media and Communication, Rachel Onamusi-Kpiasi.

“Nigerians are slaughtered mercilessly at an increasingly disturbing frequency by herdsmen and the present government neither speaks nor acts. There have been zero arrests of the perpetrators and no compensation for the surviving victims. Boko Haram has decimated the North with scant retribution save for the present government swelling their coffers in ransom money.

“But women – our mothers, wives and sisters – who carried out a peaceful protest and caused neither harm nor disturbance to civic peace are quickly rounded up like cattle.”

The group said the government’s disregard for human rights of citizens is a disrespect for human life.

“The government’s disregard of the fundamental human rights of her citizens, as well as the reports of starvation of the arrested women since their incarceration points to a disrespect for human life and well-being. Carrying IPOB memorabilia can never be sufficient justification for this gross miscarriage of justice.

“The TakeitBack Movement fundamentally believes that all Nigerians have a right to peaceful protests. We also believe that raising questions about the restructuring of Nigeria is an inalienable right.

”Again, we ask, where is the justice? While men, who have maimed and killed hundreds walk around free and unfettered, our mothers from the South-east are in prison for raising a flag. We demand the immediate release of these women,” the group said.
