IJAW GROUP KNOCKS TAKEME OVER FALSE CLAIMS.. AS OKOWA’S PROJECTS NOT SPREAD ACROSS ALL IJAW KINGDOMS IN DELTA -IPDI

Ijaw right protection group in Delta State, Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, (IPDI), yesterday expressed displeasure over claims made by the Delta State Commissioner of Urban Renewal, Hon Julius Takeme, published in the National dailies.

The spokes person of the group, Comrade Daniel Ezekiel in a statement made available to Main News said, “Our attention has been drawn to a purported and unguided statement made by Hon Julius Takeme, the current commissioner for Urban Renewal Delta State which was published in the national dailies and that Delta Ijaws have benefited much from the current Okowa led state government, arguing that Okowa has spread his projects across all Ijaw Kingdoms in Delta state”

“It is not our style to respond to issues that lacks iota of truth, however, we deem it fit to respond so as to guide the gullible public as to set the records straight”

“Governor Okowa has only few projects in Ijaw Communities in the state, namely Ayakoromo bridge (Ngbile kingdom ), awarded by his predecessor,(ongoing) ,Obotebe Kingdom, where the Hon. Julius Takeme hail from, no Okowa project has been sited, Ogbolubiri Kingdom,Nil, Burutu road (Eduwin Kingdom ), Ogulagha and Sokobulou roads in Ogulagha kingdom, Isembiri Kingdom Nil, Akugbene Mein Kingdom Nil, Oporomo Kingdom,Nil, Tuomo Kingdom, Tuomo /Torogbene roads, no contractor has been mobilize to site. Isaba Kingdom Nil, OgboIjoh Kingdom, Nil. Gbaramatu kingdom, Okerenkoko road, Egbema Kingdom Nil, Kabor Kingdom Nil, Kumbor Kingdom Nil, Diebiri Nil etc”

“This shows that the Commissioner for Urban renewal lied and not all Ijaw kingdoms in Delta state have benefited from Okowa’s administration”

“It is disgusting as Takeme who ought to uphold public truth and show integrity has condescend so low to create wrong impressions in public places. Such a person lacks the impetus to speak or tell Governor Okowa the truth”.

The group further noted that under Julius Takeme’s watch as an appointee who is from Burutu LGA as a commissioner, Ijaws in Delta State were excluded from 70 road projects shared in the state recently. We expected him to be remorse over such betrayal as it shows his ineffectiveness as member of the state executive council.

IPDI further added that it was distasteful that despite the appointment of Julius Takeme as a commissioner, Ijaws in the state cannot boast of relieve from the oppressive aged long marginalisation.

“It is no longer a news that Delta state is sustained with oil revenue from Ijaws of Burutu, Gbaramatu, Egbema Kingdoms. Ijaw gave Okowa the highest support in his 2015 elections”.

“Ijaws are suffering under Okowa’s administration, we are being relegated and given selective treatments despite our enormous supports. Ijaws deserves the best treatment from Okowa, we expected all Ijaw communities to have recorded tangible project but the revise is the case”.

IPDI demanded that Takeme should withdraw his unguided public statement and render unreservered apology to Delta Ijaws for misleading the public with lies.

UGHELLI – SS Peter and Paul, Saint Theresa’s Catholic Women Organization, CWO and God’s Delight Gospel Assembly, aka Free Indeed, Udu local government area were on Sunday lamenting, frowning and unhappy as the Senator Representing Delta Central at the National Assembly, Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege, tried to buy their votes with a token of N20,000 , all in the name of empowerment.

Most of the women invited jealously refused to be bought with such token as an empowerment. The SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church Auditorium was empty because majority of the women invited simply refused to honor the PVC buying, says they we not sell their conscience again.

According to an eye witness , “she said most of the Catholic women are teachers, headmistress and retired nurse” not traders nor widows, that the total number of women present were not more than 50 women and they decide to write the names of some women twice.

One of the supposed beneficiaries, who refused to participate describe the scheme as mortgaging her right and that of her children’s future. That ( N20,000 ), Cannot mortgage her future, ” tell me! what will I do with such lean amount of money , those money belongs to everyone with in Delta Central not some selected Catholic women leaders, I do not need the money, there are aged mothers, widows and women who are children have no good job, those are the kind of people that needs to be mortgaged with such amount. Not me a retired head mistress.

“The essence of this empowerment is to encourage the women who are into petty trading but have no much money to put into it, rather buy some of the goods credit with promise to pay back but with this N20,000 given to them, they can now get their goods, sell and make their little gains.

” Am so ashamed of Omo-Agege giving women and youths N20, 000 as an empowerment. That is an insult to urhobo people. Of what use is such amount of money to vulnerables how much more market women. That over the past three years he has been seen given N20,000 each to 6,000 petty traders in 20 markets but this Sunday, l have to extend the programme to churches by empowering over 50 women to boost their working capital as my contribution to humanity playing politics with our lives, it must stop.

We need prophet E-kimibradigha kind of leaders in Izon nation. The man footsteps I followed! Says Prophet Ajabowei

Introduction.

It has been a great privilege for me over the past few years, to mix and mingle with many men and women in numerous areas of society who are leaders. It has always been a fascination, as I observe their lives to see just why people would want to follow their leadership.

If ever there was a time in history, when we should be studying the principles of leadership, it is now. Worldwide we are facing a leadership crisis.

Government, Business, Industry, Labour, Education, and even the Church are all famishing effective leadership. We may have many people filling administrative positions, but the need is for true leaders, who are able to do the job more effectively.

Every kingdom, nation, and society needs to continuously develop leadership skills, in order to accomplish success. The world is divided into leaders and followers. Bill the Ajabowei, from Wonimigha-ama, said, ” Civilization must experience progress, and progress depends upon leadership.

Who is a Leader: What is Leadership?

Ted, also called the Engstrom, from Zini-ibe, said, ” A leader is one who guides and develops the activities of others, and seeks to provide continual training and direction. “

I am a leader: so, what is my responsibility? Is to guides and develops the works of others. Not to protect my job, but rather, to secure the lives and properties of my followers. Why? Because, they’re under my protection.

Now, let’s see the definition of leadership. To Haggai ( called the John), ” Leadership is the discipline of deliberately exerting special influence within a group, to move it toward goals of beneficial performance that fulfill the group real needs.”

You’re a leader in an organization, or a community, or a nation; so, what will you do? You intentionally put your special influence within the organization, or the kingdom, or the nation that you’re leading. That’s means, you knowingly exert your personal influence within the society.

E-kimibradigha good deeds.

When prophet E-kimibradigha became a friend to Amnesty, also called Egbesu Blessing: He went to Otimibranimi, and remembered his past; then, he began to do good, like Ebiyai-miyen . He also advised his friend called Egbesu Blessing, to took many of the Izonites to various researching centers, both Warimoh Abademoh.

E-kimibradigha also brought Gagha, also called Light into the land, but some members of the family of Thieves, from the capital city of Criminals, came and stole the Solars that Gagha brought. But Ini-furumawei Furuma-arau to Mu-biroko Furu-ini-ibeboh! Go and brought good things into the land: stop destroying the good ones in the kingdom.

But when prophet E-oyerighawei Omiyen-mini-aseigha-yema was alive, he said, ” We should eat and drink together as brothers and sisters. ” But after he died, one boy called Desi-laghatimi Desi-miniwei, also called Bouncing the Baby Boy, came and said, ‘ Prophet Echo has gone, and is now my turn to die; and he died.’ For this, the scripture was fulfilled.

So Obibi-difiye! Be careful with your mouth: because, prophet E-kimibradigha, also called Ala-owei was a good leader. But high Priest Tompolo is the biblical High Priest Simon of our time.

Only Torumoh-kurumoh-kurumoh saw the difference, when Owouma-okake-katimi-abu brought Brafawei; who claimed to be Amnesty, also called Egbesu Blessing, and took our guns, and left us without payment. May Egbesu judge treacherous leaders in the cities of the Izonites! So you say! Igbabrapagha!

But this people look, but don’t see; they listen, but don’t hear, nor understand. So the prophecy of Echo applies to them: ” This people will look and look, but not see: they will listen and listen, but not hear, nor understand.

Because their minds are dull, and they have stopped up their ears: and have closed their eyes. Otherwise, their eyes would see; their ears would hear; their minds would understand, and they will turn to me, says Egbesu (God of Izon), and would heal them.”

May the Mighty God Egbesu gives long life, peace, and prosperity for Aye-ebidou-abu and Bibi-tibi Miyen-mini-abu! So you say! Igbabrapagha!

Characteristics of an Effective Leader.

Now let’s see some of the peculiarities, or singularities, or personalities that distinguish, or particularize, or individualize a leader as an effective leader.

1. He must has vision. British prime minister, Winston Churchill once said, ” The empires of the future are the empires of the mind. Vision is the key to understand leadership. Without vision you’re just playing games with your life. As the scripture said, “Where there is no vision; the people are perish!” Leaders have empires in their brains.

2 He must has wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge and experience to any given situation. It is something that strengthen us to use knowledge rightly. Wisdom resists group pressures: thinks for itself; and it restored to the use of its own judgment. It doesn’t matter how much money you have.

3 He must has courage. To Bill Newman “Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the mastery of it.” “Whatever course you decide, there is always someone to tell you that you’re wrong. There are always difficulties that arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action requires courage. ( Raph Waldo Emerson)” But the scripture says, that spirit of boldness, and confidence as already given to us.

4 He must be a risk taker. That blind, dumb, and deaf beautiful girl, Helen Keller said, ” Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” You either take the risk or you will be left behind.

5 The leader is a decision maker. A good leader knows that there are certain rules to follow to make the right decisions.

6 He must give out, or exudes inspirational power. Leaders have a sense of purpose, and destiny. Leaders inspire, create commitment, act as exemplars and evoke the highest level of commitment and competence from their team.

7 He must practices tact and diplomacy. A distinguished Australian speaker, Bill Newman advised, “Don’t lead your team with a whip, give them a dream and help them reach it.”

8 An effective leader must has humility. Real leaders see themselves as a team. Their fragile ego does not have to be propped up by rewards. Nevertheless, as the rewards come they want to share the limelight with others.

2019 : Ijaws Will Not Vote For Okowa Again Over Deliberate Neglect Of Riverine Communities-Prince Perekeme

Prince Perekeme

By Francis Tayor _Warri

Ahead of 2019 general elections,a young leader of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP,Ward 7 Ayakoromo in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, royal Prince Kelvin Perekeme has accused the governor of Delta State,His Excellency,Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa on what it termed wickedness and ungrateful to the Ijaws by neglecting the riverine communities in terms of even distribution of social amenities across the state.

Prince Kelvin stress that, despite the block votes the Ijaws gave to Okowa during 2015 election, what the governor can do is to deliberately deprive them from dividends of Democracy in the past three years and six months in office. He regretted that the Ijaws made the greatest mistake by supporting Okowa in the past, and that 2019 shall correct every wrong.

Speaking to NDM News Xclusive, which copy was send to Mainnews.blog Prince Kelvin buttress that,” how could a reasonable government approves the construction of 70 roads in a five different ethnic state and none is located in Ijaw riverine communities? Are the Ijaws not Part of Delta State ?

The worse part of it,the Ayakoromo bridge which Okowa promised to complete before his first term elapse is abandoned and yet the government said is working.I want to made it clear here that,if Okowa fail to review the 70 road projects recently approved by his government and allocate some to Ijaw riverine communities,he should not dare to campaign to riverine communities for vote in 2019 elections.

The Ijaws in Delta State cannot be treated like a second class citizens in their own state. We must say No to a bad leadership come 2019 with our PVCs.It shall no longer be as usual this time around. The youths are now politically awakened to resist any form of poor and ineffective leadership at the polls,Prince Kelvin asserted. “
